Nagelsmann: I’d love Kane at Bayern...
Bayern’s hint they will test the north Londoners’ resolve at some point as they search for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann conceded an imminent move for Kane appears impossible, given the amount of money it would take to convince Spurs to to sell. The 28-year-old has just a year left on his deal next season.
But hours later Conte blasted Bayern for going public to speak openly about the England striker.
Conte said: “The situation is very clear at Tottenham, and Harry is a very important part of the project.
“I don’t like to talk about players from another club.
“If I want to do something I speak to the club only. Maybe that’s a bit disrespectful for the other club.”
Bayern executive Oliver Kahn had revealed that Kane would be the club’s dream signing after losing talismanic striker Lewandowski to Barcelona.
Nagelsmann added: “Kane is very expensive – and that’s the problem.
“But he’s a brilliant player, one of two or three who can play as a centre forward. In the last few years he’s been more of a No.10.
“Kane is very strong, brilliant with head and both feet. He could score a lot in the Bundesliga.
“I don’t know the price, but it’s really tough for Bayern Munich – but we’ll see what happens in the future.”
