Naz shows solidarity at Iran protest

- BY KAREN ROCKETT

FREED Nazanin ZaghariRatcliffe joined thousands of protestors yesterday in London’s Trafalgar Square calling for regime change in Iran after a woman died in police custody there.

Nazanin, left, released in March after being detained six years ago, told the Sunday

Mirror: “I wanted to show solidarity to the women inside Iran – whether free in the streets standing up for their rights, or now locked up in prison for defending them.”

The worldwide protests were triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died in custody after being arrested by “morality police” for allegedly wearing her hijab too loosely.
