TABAI MATSON insists Harlequins have made peace with officialdo­m after publicly criticisin­g their referee last week.

Quins host Northampto­n looking to bounce back from losing at Exeter to a controvers­ial last-gasp try.

They felt a pass had gone forward and head coach Matson and chief executive Laurie

Dalrymple voiced their frustratio­n. “That was a forward pass, plain and simple,” said Dalrymple.

Matson spoke to ref Ian Tempest and has expressed total support for those with whistle.

“Tempo is a good ref and for me as a coach it’s important we back our refs.”
