BROWN: UPSET ON THE CARDS

-

EXCLUSIVE BY ALEX WOOD MANCHESTER UNITED can upset the odds against Manchester City today, says Wes Brown.

City are riding high in the table with five wins from seven games.

But Erik ten

Hag’s side are also now in good form with four straight Premier League wins.

“City are the team to beat,” said former

United defender Brown (below).

“They’ve got their squad from last season plus Erling Haaland, who has started unbelievably well.

“City are in great spirits and looking to win the Premier League, whereas United have to focus on themselves for the moment. United have been excellent in the bigger games this season and, hopefully, they can keep that going. After the last five or six games the manager will be delighted with how it’s going – especially as in those first two games they were poor, like last season.

“The focus and passion is back and that’s a big starting point because the players are good, but they have to bring everything to it. There is still a long way to go to get to that standard and do it week in, week out.”
