Reds eye up Nunes
WOLVES already face a battle to hang on to their record £42million signing Matheus Nunes, with Liverpool and Manchester City maintaining a keen interest.
At one stage in the summer, the midfielder kept Wolves waiting in the hope that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would make a move after the club had made enquiries to Sporting Lisbon over his availability.
But, following an impressive start to life at Molineux, it is understood Liverpool have rekindled their interest.
Nunes has already become a firm favourite with the Wolves fans and it would take a huge fee well in excess of what they paid for them to sell.
