PAUL WARNE was delighted with his start to life as Derby boss.

James Collins scored in each half as County won for the first time away from home in League One this season. Warne said: “Everyone’s made us so welcome, all the staff behind the scenes have been brilliant. To finish with a win will give the place a real boost.

“All in all, a clean sheet away from home, two goals, we could have scored more, I’m really pleased.”

Mark Bonner admitted his Cambridge side were beaten by the better team.

“We can’t get too downhearted when you lose against a team that’s as strong as them,” he said.
