Mum of Chris Kaba speaks at No10 rally
THE mother of a man shot dead by police joined a march past Downing Street yesterday to demand justice for bereaved families.
Helen Nkama, whose son Chris Kaba, 24, was killed in Streatham, South London, on September 5, spoke at the annual United Families & Friends Campaign event.
Addressing the crowd, Ms Nkama said: “What [were his] last words? Did he ask for me?”
The campaigners, who have marched every year since 1999, delivered a letter to No.10 asking for a meeting with new PM, Rishi Sunak.
A vigil was also held in Edinburgh where similar calls were made to discuss issues with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
