Dad’s rowing task to mark Amy’s death
THE dad of a 25-year-old who died in her sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition is to row the Atlantic in her memory.
Andrew Osborne, 57, will travel the 3,000-plus miles solo in 90 days for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young that helped his family after daughter Amy’s 2018 death.
He sets off in December to raise £100,000 to provide heart scans for under-35s.
Olympic rower James Cracknell has been helping with training. Andrew, from Rutland, East Mids, said: “Amy loved the sea.”
