Twitter boss Musk teases big changes
ELON Musk has said there will be no alterations to Twitter’s content moderation policies… yet.
The world’s richest man, who completed a £38billion takeover of the company this week, tweeted: “To be super clear, we have not yet made any changes.”
But the 51-year-old said he plans to form a Twitter council with “widely diverse viewpoints” and “no major content decisions will happen before that council convenes”.
Mr Musk also said “anyone suspended for minor and dubious reasons” would be “freed from Twitter jail” and gave assurances that “comedy is now legal” on the platform.
It is unclear if banned users such as former US President Donald Trump will be allowed to return.
