MAT SADLER backed Walsall to reel in their promotion rivals after Hayden White’s close-range effort secured victory.

“Let’s keep clawing the teams in front of us back,” said the Saddlers’ first-team coach. “I’d back our group against many.”

Rochdale boss Jim Bentley was not impressed with the nature of the goal, saying: “It just looked a little bit too easy.”
