PAEDO GLITTER THREATENED BY VIGILANTE MOB

Freed fiend gets fish & chips delivered

EXCLUSIVE VIGILANTES turned up on Gary Glitter’s doorstep hours after the sex offender pop star celebrated his freedom with fish and chips.

Police were called to the paedophile’s new home yesterday after a five-strong gang found the address of his halfway house and arrived to hurl abuse.

They tried to scale the gates before security intervened and dialled 999.

Police questioned the men before ordering them to leave.

One of the angry group shouted: “He should be killed.”

Another yelled: “We don’t want him round here – there’s ten schools a short distance away, it’s disgusting.”

Glitter, 78, who rose to fame in the 70s, is staying at a bail hostel in the south of England after being freed from jail on Friday.

It is believed the group were alerted to the location from a post on social media.

Meanwhile we can reveal Glitter tucked into a fish and chip dinner delivered to his room on Friday evening.

Others at the bail hostel told the Sunday Mirror that disgraced Glitter was treated to room service while the rest are forced to eat in a communal room.

The pair who saw Glitter arrive on Friday said: “We’ve seen him a few times but he’s having his meals brought to his room and has stayed there all day.”

They added: “It’s definitely him – he’s still got the grey hair and goatee beard.”

The former star was released from HMP Verne in Portland early on Friday morning.

He was driven out of the category C prison after serving half his 16-year sentence.

Glitter – real name Paul Gadd – was jailed in 2015 for sex crimes against a 13-yearold girl.

The Glam Rock brute was at the height of fame when he preyed on the vulnerable.

The allegations came to light 40 years later when Glitter was the first to be arrested under Operation Yewtree.

The Met Police launched the investigation into allegations of child sex crimes following the Jimmy Savile scandal. DJ Savile had believed he could not be touched because of his fame.
