Who runs the world? Girls do in Amazon Prime Video’s new series, The Power.

Based on the award-winning novel by Brit author Naomi Alderman, it sees teenage girls develop the power to electrocute people in a complete reversal of the balance of the world. Toni Collette stars as mayor Margot ClearyLopez.

And if the book is anything to go by, it’s going to be a hit. Even

Lizzo didn’t disappoint on the first night of her global tour at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Thursday.

The singer, still riding high from her Grammys and BRITs glory, opened to roars of delight with The Sign, and had fans in stitches with her nod to Ariana DeBose’s Bafta rap.

Our set highlights were Rumors and Boys, with her trademark “tight booty twerk”, but it was the encore – which included Juice and About Damn Time – that brought the house down.

JLS are hoping celeb pals like Tinie Tempah, Olly Murs and Niall Horan will join them on their latest comeback tour.

The foursome – Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Oritse Williams – have just announced a 15-date Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour. Marvin tells us: “We’ll have a big DJ section in the middle with all sorts from Tinie, inset, Tao Cruz, Dizzee Rascal, Drake… even The Saturdays.

“It gives us the opportunity to invite secret guests. Between us, we obviously know a lot of artists so could bring out someone different every night.”

The boys can’t wait to get back on the road, but Oritse’s new wife Kazz might not be as thrilled. He admits: “We got married in private in Jamaica and were planning a big ceremony in the UK but will have to push it back now.”

On the flip side Marvin, who has been married to singer Rochelle for 11 years, joked: “She’ll probably be glad to see the back of me.”
