WE’VEWE all applauded the ingeniousin undercover reporting of Fake Sheikh Mazher Mahmood. But following the collapse of Tulisa’s trial, his actions have been thrown into question. J Osborne Newcastle WHAT a vile, nasty piece of work legal high kingpin Paul Richards is. More than 50 deaths in 2012 alone are attributed to this industry. The sad thing is there is a Richards in almost every town, getting rich on the back of someone else’s misery.

It’s about time these shops and websites that sell these chemicals were criminalised and the people selling them are prosecuted. IT was heartwarming to read Peaches Geldof’s sisters Pixie, Tiger Lily and Fifi Trixibelle are doing their best to help look after her children Phaedra and Astala. It still must be so raw for them all. M Gosney Billingham, Teesside WHAT a sad photo of Fatima’s Australian parents at the Ukraine crash site. Her dad’s T-shirt with its message of peace said it all. No war is worth the loss of innocent life. M Cooper Newcastle SEEING the devastation in Gaza and the lives lost, especially innocent children and civilians, is heartbreaking. Let’s hope that a longer truce is negotiated. J Singer Leeds

Now we learn ex-London’s Burning star John Alford believes he was set up by Mahmood in an almost identical sting, which resulted in him getting jail time.

Judge Alistair McCreath believes Mahmood lied during Tulisa’s trial. That should be grounds enough for his past methods to be investigated. Who knows what an investigation could reveal? D Webster Taunton, Somerset WHO can blame Jayden Parkinson’s mum for believing an “eye for an eye”. I can understand her wanting her daughter’s brutal killer to suffer every second he is in prison. J Copley Haringey, North London DIDN’T Michelle Keegan look stunning in your photos last week? I bet she’s knocking a hole in fiancé Mark Wright’s plastic friend – now she’s moved to Essex, shopping will be her main pastime. Corrie has lost a star but the Essex high street has gained a beauty. L Bruton Birmingham I WAS shocked by the news that troubled George Michael has become a virtual recluse. On behalf of all your fans, George, I say turn a different corner and go outside. We think you’re amazing. M Dunlop Wallsend, Tyne and Wear I’M glad that ex-footballer Ian Wright has been tweeting that police were closing in on thieves who terrorised his wife and stole from his house while he was in Brazil for the World Cup. The men who threatened her with a knife, knowing Wright was away and his family were vulnerable, were cowards. G Tutton Welwyn Garden City, Herts THANK goodness all signs of postnatal depression are consigned to history for mum Suzi Wood, who wanted to kill her baby.

More than 70,000 mums suffer from this often undiagnosed condition every year. We need more midwives to diagnose it and offer help. Mums are the glue that hold families together – they must not be abandoned. J Cohen Leeds
