KERRY SIGNS £50,000 PANTO ROLE

- by Patrick Hill

KERRY Katona is facing a fairytale ending to a troubled year after agreeing a £50,000 panto deal.

The twice-bankrupt Atomic Kitten singer will play The Fairy Godmother in an “all-star” Cinderella.

Kerry, 35, has signed up to a punishing schedule of 68 shows over 32 days at Lincoln Theatre Royal.

A source has revealed she has been given a seven-bedroom home for the run so all her family can join her. The source said: “It’s saved her, she had nothing else significant lined up. It’s huge money for her.”

This week the mum of five sparked outrage by joking she had children to land lucrative magazine deals.

She told an audience in Gran Canaria: “An OK! deal, pop a kid out, another OK! deal. I only have kids depending on how much OK! will pay me.” She also said she was ready to “turn lesbian” after a string of failed romances.

The reality TV star also appeared on ITV’s Loose Women and said her mum had sold her engagement ring from first husband, Brian McFadden, on eBay for £500.

Last month we ran exclusive pictures of Kerry sprawled across an airport car park with her trousers around her ankles after arriving at Gran Canaria drunk at 11am.

The self-confessed alcoholic lost a £250,000 ad deal with the supermarket Iceland in 2009 after she was snapped allegedly snorting cocaine at home.

Her third marriage, to rugby player George Kay, 37, collapsed last autumn.
