Party kids storm hell
AT least four children were fighting for life last night after being hit by lightning at a birthday party.
A total of eight kids and three adults were burned when the bolt hit a park in an affluent northern suburb of Paris.
The children, all aged around nine, were sheltering under a tree from a sudden rainstorm when the lightning struck.
Four children and two adults were seriously hurt.
The four children were later described as being in a l i f e- t hreatening condition.
A further five people were slightly i njured, i ncluding f our other children and another adult.
Lightning also struck a football pitch in western Germany yesterday, injuring 35 people.
Three were seriously hurt, i ncluding t he referee.
