Joey hooks Ed on fish
FORMER Towie star Joey Essex has been grilling ex Labour leader Ed Miliband about fish.
The reality TV celeb, 25, at a Remain campaign event raised Billingsgate fish market workers’ fears about French trawlers.
Joey said the fish were taken to France then the French called to ask us how much we want for them. He said: “The guys there, they kept telling me the French basically nick our fish.”
Mr Miliband said there were issues with EU fishing quotas but insisted it was right for Britain to remain in the EU.
He said: “Being a member of a club means you don’t always get your own way.
“But I’d say the balance of what we gain is far, far more than what we lose.”
