Hikers find Brit’s body
HIKERS have found the remains of a British tourist who disappeared in Canada two-and-a-half years ago.
Tom Billings, 22, was last seen trekking in the North Shore mountains on November 25, 2013.
He was thought to have got lost or been injured.
His remains and personal belongings were spotted last month by walkers on Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver.
A postmortem has been carried out and Mr Billings was identified through DNA. Vancouver Police do not suspect foul play.
Mr Billings, of Oxford, was reported missing after he failed to return to his accommodation in the city.
He had been expected to return to England in December 2013.
