Gut ripper gang held

FIVE drug gang members have been arrested for allegedly dismembering the body of a man who died while carrying cocaine in his stomach for them.

Their “mule” died in May last year after a pellet he swallowed burst.

He was cut open to recover the remaining packets, which he had carried on a flight from Latin America to Spain.

A dog-walker found the man’s body in two bags on wasteland at Parla, an industrial town a few miles south of Madrid.

The five men arrested were collared in Lerida, Catalonia, some 300 miles away. They were among more than 20 members of the same ring arrested in various parts of Spain.
