Joan’s trip for Jackie

- By Karen Rockett

JOAN Collins has revealed how the death of her novelist sister Jackie has made her more adventurous.

Dame Joan, who turned 83 this week, said she has been spending time with Jackie’s daughters – and now wants to see the world.

She said: “It’s been terrible but we all have to learn to live with it.

“I find that when you lose someone so close it gives you a wake-up call on your own life. I now want to travel more and go to places I wouldn’t normally see.”

The Dynasty star had no idea her sister had breast cancer until she died last September, aged 77.

She said she has regular mammograms because her mum died of breast cancer – but Jackie did not like seeing doctors.

She also revealed her nieces gave her Chanel bags that belonged to their mum, as Jackie always gave her a bag for her birthday.
