IT has taken only 25 months but EastEnders’ Lucy Beale murder story finally reached somewhere interesting.

Little brother Bobby confessed publicly and we were asked to believe the police would grant bail and let him visit his latest victim, Jane, in a coma.

There was one particularly horrific and graphic scene leading to it.
