POCH IS A FAN OF JAN
MAURICIO POCHETTINO has made a personal check on Holland striker Vincent Janssen.
The AZ Alkmaar youngster played against Ireland on Friday in Dublin – and the Tottenham boss was there to see him.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a magnificent second half to the season and he is now on the radar of several top clubs. After a relatively quiet first half to the campaign, Janssen scored 22 goals in 19 appearances – including one against England last March. The Dutch club value him at £15million but Spurs feel £12m is more realistic.
PALERMO expect Spurs to formalise their interest in midfielder Franco Vazquez.
Pochettino wants the 27-yearold, who scored eight goals for the Sicilian Serie A side this season with seven assists.
TOTTENHAM will play their home Champions League games at Wembley next season after thrashing out a deal with the FA.
The north Londoners, who are redeveloping White Hart Lane by building a £400m stadium next to their existing ground, will also have the option to use Wembley for all matches in 2017-18.
