MAMADOU SAKHO has been cleared to play at Euro 2016 after his 30-day provisional drugs ban ran out yesterday – and hasn’t been extended by UEFA.
Liverpool’s French defender was temporarily banned last month after testing positive for a fatburning substance after the Europa League clash at Manchester United.
UEFA have opened a new probe into whether the substance in the slimming pills is, in fact, illegal.
It is unclear though, whether France coach Didier Deschamps will call up Sakho as he has not played since April 20. He missed RYAN GIGGS has demanded a summit meeting with Jose Mourinho over his Old Trafford future.
The Manchester United legend, on holiday in Dubai, wants to meet the club’s new boss before deciding if he will stay.
