CHRIS Evans has said he expects to be axed from his BBC Radio 2 show any day.

The Top Gear host – recently under fire over claims he bullied fellow workers and made a female producer cry – said on air: “I wake up every morning expecting to have been sacked by lunchtime.”

Speaking as he interviewed Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain on Friday, he added: “When I’m not, the rest of the day is really chipper. Literally, I go, ‘Well, it’s probably today.’” Chris, 50, is believed to have told pals he is the victim of “a witchhunt” since landing the coveted Top Gear gig.

Earlier this year, it was claimed the strain JENNIFER Aniston looks all at sea as she struggles with her deck chair – but she’s just pitching it in the surf to cool off in the Caribbean. The 47-year-old former Friends star looked happy and relaxed as she enjoyed a beach holiday in the Bahamas with husband Justin Theroux, 44. Marriage seems to suit her as she is still glowing ten months after she tied the knot – and their tender kiss, left, says it all. Jen had to deny rumours last week that she was pregnant after it was claimed some pictures of her appear to show a baby bump. It was quicky put down to her having eaten a big lunch. And she clearly has a flat, toned stomach in pictures taken in New York since her return from holiday. of filming for the motoring hit on top of early mornings on the radio had left him at breaking point – which the BBC denied. Top Gear executive producer Lisa Clark quit after allegedly calling Evans “a control freak”. And John Revell, who worked with the presenter in the 1990s, branded him “out of control” adding: “I’d hoped he’d got to an age where he’d have stopped bullying and shouting but by all accounts he hasn’t.”

Last month, Evans said: “Yes, I lose my rag. But not like I used to.”

He has also had to defend Top Gear’s disappointing ratings, which fell to an all-time low of 2.4 million last weekend.
