As election fever grips America the stars call for first female president

WITH the US election just two days away, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are virtually neck and neck – but there’s no doubt right now who is the stars’ favourite.

If this was a Hollywood casting call, Hillary would get the part and the bouffanted billionair­e would be shown the door.

Republican candidate Trump has some famous fans.

But his Democrat rival’s list of supporters reads like a Who’s Who of Tinseltown.

Both candidates were making a final push for votes in the key state of Florida yesterday. Here we take look at the two election celeb fan clubs:

TRUMP

Big Brother star and fomer basketball player Dennis Rodman tweeted: “We don’t need another politician, we need a businessma­n like Mr Trump!”

Rocker Kid Rock told Rolling Stone magazine he is “digging Donald Trump”. The Kid also said America should let Trump run the country like a business. Wrestler Hulk Hogan tweeted: “I don’t want to be in the ring with any candidates, I want to be Trump’s running mate.” Singer Azealia Banks wrote: “I REALLY want Donald Trump to win the election. Hillary has been GROOMED for the preside presidency. She’s another one of the establishm­ent’se robots, here to carry out an agenda.” Former heavyweigh­t boxi ing champ Mike Tyson said: “Let’s try something new. L Let’s run America like a business, where no colours matter. Whoever can do the jo job, gets the job.” John Ratzenberg­er, who played Cliff Calvin in the hit US sitcom Cheers, said: “The only candidate out there for me is Donald Trump because he’s a builder.” Dirty Harry star Clint Eastwood claimed Trump is “on to something because everybody’s getting tired of political correctnes­s, kissing up”. Actor Charlie Sheen, a self-proclaimed “winner”, tweeted that he’d be Trump’s vice president “in a heartbeat”. Oscar winner Jon Voight, father of Angelina Jolie, said of Trump: “He’s an answer to our problems. We need to get behind him. We need somebody to reconstruc­t us, get us back to where we were.”

Big Brother star Gary Busey said: “I know him personally. I know him profession­ally. He’s a great guy. He’s sharp. He’s fast. He can change the country.”

Incredible Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno enthused: “I wish Donald the best. He’s a fabulous guy. I hope he goes all the way.”

Actor Scott Baio – Chachi Arcola from Happy Days – said of Trump: “When he speaks I understand him.
