TROUBLED Kerry Katona is planning to renew her wedding vows – despite declaring on TV this week that her marriage was over.
The Atomic Kitten singer is said to be “mortified” at scenes from Channel 5 show In Therapy during which she said she didn’t want George Kay back.
Now she wants to prove her love to him once more. A source said: “They’ve had their ups and downs so they’re not going to rush into it, but next year they want to cement their feelings for each other with a blessing and renewal of their vows.
“Because of their difficult past together, they are really focussing on being good for each other right now.
“Kerry is already getting excited about another wedding though. She is in such amazing shape and has had lipo, and is now training and looking after her figure – partially in preparation for the big day.”
Kerry’s TV show was filmed with therapist Mandy Saligari earlier this year while former Warrington Wolves rugby player George was awaiting trial for allegedly assaulting her and being in possession of a banned weapon.
During her emotional TV session Kerry, 36, revealed how she and her children – Molly, 14, Lilly Sue, 13, Heidi, nine, Maxwell, eight, and d Dylan Jorge, two – were happier on their own. She said: “I don’t think I would be comfortable with my husband coming back. It’s’s like an epiphany. It’s just dawneded on me that there is no drama at home and everyone is relaxed.”

The charges againstt him were dropped after Kerry y withdrew her statement in July, and a few weeks later they got back together her again.

Now Chelsee insists she and Jack – who began dating over two years ago – have never split. “Everyone has their ups and downs, it wouldn’t be normal if you didn’t,” she said. “But we have never been apart – the lying tweets were never aimed at him.” The couple were tested when Jack was jailed last November. He pleaded guilty to driving offences and the court heard he had previously admitted producing cannabis.
But the star said: “I got through it. You make mistakes and come through them.”
Chelsee, runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing 2011, is now delighted to be back on the telly after she found fame on Waterloo Road and Casualty.
She admitted: “It took a while for me to get back to acting. It was tough, but it makes me appreciate this so much more.”
