Former lover Warren urges Loose Women star to find God GLADIATOR READY...TO PRAY FOR EX KATIE

- By Janine Yaqoob

FORMER Gladiator Warren Furman has offered to help ex-fiancée Katie Price find God.

Warren, better known as Ace from the hit 90s TV game show, has shunned showbiz since turning to Christianity and becoming an evangelist.

Now he wants Katie, a multi-millionaire TV personality, to do the same.

Warren, 44, said: “I feel like God is telling me to help her – to save her so she crosses from the path that leads to death and destruction to the path that leads to life.

Good

“I feel God is saying to me, ‘Warren, Katie might listen to you’. She’s caught up in materialistic things.

“She may look at me like she does at the rest of the world and think I have an agenda, but I want nothing more than to introduce her to God. I want her to be an influence of good.”

Warren said he and former glamour model Katie, 38, then known as Jordan, bonded because of their working-class backgrounds and determination to make money.

The couple, engaged from 2007 to 2009, had a l uxurious lifestyle.

Warren said: “We travelled the world first class, went for expensive dinners, had big houses and fancy cars.” But the relationship turned sour. Warren said: “We both came from working-class families and were hustling for a few quid. We were put into a lifestyle where people had everything. “We were absolutely petrified we would lose it. So we made some dubious decisions together. It j eopardised our relationship.” The pair haven’t spoken since their split in 2009. ITV’s Loose Women star Katie went on to have five children and is now with third husband Kieran Hayler, 29.

Warren, who lives in York with his wife and two children, turned to Christianity six years ago.

He praised Katie for forgiving Kieran when he had an affair two years ago. But he added: “She’s exposed and parasites want to feed off that celebrity status and money.

“I want her to invite God into her life so she can be protected.” Warren has not been paid for this story.
