Hate propaganda found in swoop on lags’ cells

- Vikki White by Andy Gardner

by TV star Danielle Lloyd today reveals she was sexually assaulted at 13 – and kept the harrowing secret for 20 years.

Danielle, 33, told no one about her ordeal at the hands of a ski instructor who was a sick predator. She blocked out the painful memory – until she broke down in a therapy session just weeks ago.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday People, the model says the attack took away her teenage years and led to a series of destructive relationships.

She said: “I never thought I’d be strong enough to speak out about this. I blocked it from my mind for 20 years.

“That predator took my innocence away from me. It’s affected the way I’ve been in relationships, my self esteem.”

She did not tell her ex husband, FAR-right and Islamic hate propaganda has been found during a search of a prison.

Jail officers swooped after a tip-off and concerns about tension between Muslim and other prisoners.

Homemade weapons, legal- high drugs, alcohol, mobile phones and flints for sharpening blades were also discovered in the search of Elmley prison on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. A source said: “Elmley is a well run prison but it has some unique challenges.

“It holds some far- right and Islamist extremists, which causes friction.”

Some inmates are English Defence League members convicted after a violent anti-immigrant demonstration in Dover a year ago.

Two prisoners were found with hate material – one involved a far-right drawing, and an extremist Islamic poem was uncovered in another cell. A Ministry of Justice spokesman said: “We take the threat of radicalisation and extremism extremely seriously. Following routine and targeted cell searches, extremist material was seized from two prisoners. We do not tolerate extremist literature.”

Last year a report found extremist literature at more than ten prisons inspected in November 2015.

Evidence of chaplains urging prisoners to send cash to Islamic charities with alleged links to terrorism was also found.
