£148m jackpot Gillian blasts her ex’s lover

THE ex-wife of EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford has hit out at his former lover after she walked out on him with £300,000-worth of prize horses.

Gillian Bayford, 44, who shared the £148million win in 2012, said: “She has taken advantage of Adrian from day one.”

Samantha Burbidge, 29, who is 17 years younger than Adrian, is thought to be in Spain after she left Adrian a fortnight ago.

The former stable girl, who was engaged to Adrian, 46, is believed to back with her ex-boyfriend.

Sam left the £6million mansion she shared with former postman Adrian, along with 30 thoroughbred horses costing up to £10,000 each, a £100,000 horsebox and a £60,000 Mercedes SLK sports car. Gillian, who split from Adrian 15 months after their win, in Haverhill, Suffolk, said: “She’s been moving horses to Spain for the company that she works for.

“Her horses that Adrian bought her are up for sale, and she’s sold her car. All in all I don’t know. She needs to face the music, I say.”

She said Adrian was trying to come to terms with his heartache by concentrating on their two children, aged ten and eight.

He was visiting them and their mum in Scotland, where Gillian now lives, when Sam moved out.

Gillian said Sam had also taken the family’s two pet dogs, a loss which had badly affected their children.

She added: “Sam had no interest in the children whatsoever.

“But she needs to consider what she has done is affecting them. “

Gillian added: “I talk to Adrian every day. He’s got the children at the moment – he’s concentrating on being a dad.”

Adrian had spent lavishly on Sam since they started seeing each other and announced they planned to marry in 2014.
