Bronson threat to love rival

- By Dan Warburton

NOTORIOUS convict Charles Bronson has drawn a bizarre sketch that appears to contain veiled threats to his fiancée’s ex.

Bronson – who took up art while behind bars – sent the cartoon from prison showing himself standing over a rat on the floor.

In it he is telling the rodent: “You little vermin.. don’t ever bring that mustard in my cage again. You know I hate Coleman’s.”

The deliberate misspell- ing of brand name Colman’s suggests he is referring to love rival Michael Coleman, who was dumped in November by Bronson’s new fiancée, Paula Williamson. The former armed robber, who has been in jail almost continuously since 1974, drew himself with a moustache in the style ofo surrealist Salavador Dali –a– and signed off using his new na name, Charles Salvador. Sources say Bronson, 64, ha had been weeks away from a pa parole hearing – but that rep repeated attempts to contact Cole Coleman will hamper his hopes. The insider said: “Bronson is obviously notorious in the prison system, he hates jail. These threats will work against him with the parole panel.”

Bronson sent a message to Mr Coleman in Sutton, South London, in November – days after his first visit from Paula, 36.

The lifer, currently in HMP Wakefield, West Yorks, wrote: “Did you know I’ve a mate who lives around the corner from your address? What a small world.”

The note was written on the back of a postcard covered in photos of Bronson, captioned: “I’m an artist not a gangster.”

Paula became engaged to Bronson on Valentine’s Day after sending letters to him for around two years.
