Model gets her skates on for show KATIE PR

KATIE Price is skating into Dancing On Ice – but only if they cough up the big bucks.

The glamour model turned businesswo­man is negotiatin­g a six-figure sum with ITV chiefs.

Katie, 39, said: “They have asked me and I did go along so they have seen me on the skates.

“There is a price for Pricey so we will just have to see if they have got the money won’t we?”

She added: “I would like to do it. It would be fun to try. It is dangerous but horse riding is dangerous.”

Bosses at the rebooted show – which was axed four years ago – have lined up This Morning duo Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby to host.

Holly, 36, and Phil, 55, first presented it when it launched 11 years ago.

Olympic legends Jayne Torvill, 59, and Christophe­r Dean, 59, are expected to be promoted from coaches to judges.

And Dancing With the Stars pro skater Sylvian Longchambo­n,n, 36, is set to be the show’s main tutor.r.

plays machin-n- ist Sinead Tinker. Mum-of-five Katie’s talks come after she tried to reinvent herself as a pop star earlier this year.

She said of her voice: “You don’t need ear plugs, don’t worry. I sing live and not everybody sings live these days do they?

“As a little girl my dream was to be a pop star or a model and in my eyes I have done it all.

“I don’t know why but whenever I release music people take the mickey. It does not stop me.

“I think if you want to do something then do it as we are not here for long.”

Katie, also a presenter on Loose Women, says she does not believe in having a crowd of hangers-on like so many celebs: “People ask if I have an entourage. But I would rather pay for food and shopping t han an entourage.

“On Loose Women some people turn up with such an entourage and I am embarrasse­d. They have all these ‘yes’ people. It comes out of their wages.

“I like to have realism around me and people to bring me down a peg or two.”

The busty star, formerly known as Jordan, told how she will “always been open and honest”. She said: “Unfortunat­ely in this industry a lot of people are manufactur factured to be a certain person but behind the scenes they a are different. I am not manu manufactur­ed. I say it as it is. I sees all the stories but I don’t know who they are
