NOW this really is a catwalk queen...

Claudia Schiffer stepped out in London’s Mayfair sporting a stylish leopardprint jumpsuit and prove that, at 47, she can still prowl with the best of them.

The evergreen German supermodel was spotted having lunch with a pal, and indulging in some animated conversation, a martini cocktail and zucchini fries at the trendy Cecconi’s restaurant.

She accessorised her feline outfit with a black handbag sporting a large white and gold star on it – as if to make a point.

And she’d styled her trademark blonde locks into a sleek wavy hairdo.

Every now and then it was time for a compact touch-up. Well, if you’re going to make like a leopard, you just have to look purrrrrrfect, darling. EMMERDALE stars are in a state of calm thanks to taking up Buddhism. While chaos reigns in the ITV soap, some of the cast have decided to practise the ancient Eastern religion. They have Gaynor Faye to thank for their newfound enlightenment, which involves group chanting on set. Yorkshire-born Gaynor, who plays Megan Macey, revealed: “I chant prayers every morning and evening. I sometimes chant in my dressing room or on set if things are getting to me.”

She took it up ten years ago and says it helped her get over post-natal depression.

Some of her cast-mates were so impressed they decided to explore the religion.

Mum-of-two Gaynor, 46, said: “I encouraged a few actors here to take up Buddhism, and we sometimes chant at work, but I won’t tell you who as it’s their business.”

Buddhism has a big celebrity following.

Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, Orlando Bloom, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn are Buddhists. A source said: “The atmosphere on the set of the Emmerdale couldn’t be any different from all the drama kicking off in the village. It’s all peace and love rather than deceit and murder.” The soap is in the grips of a storyline in which killer Lachlan White, played by Thomas Atkinson, may be striking again.
