NOEL’S LANDED SOME GREAT DEAL OR NO DEALS

- By Halina Watts SHOWBIZ EDITOR

NOEL Edmonds is in the money – his short stint in the jungle has landed him a string of lucrative job offers.

The Deal Or No Deal legend was only on the

ITV show for nine days, but earned a reported £ 600,000 before losing out to ex- Eastender Rita Simons in the bottom two.

Now he is set to make millions from a book, celebrity endorsements and an offer to turn him and wife Liz Davies into fitness gurus.

One insider said they could be “the new Kard Kard- ashians. There are so many offers”.

Liz said she f elt r elieved after Noel was booted out.

She s ai d d: : “I thought he was going to go. I don’t know why, it’s just a feeling, but I think it will be for the good. Lots of people in the country might be sad and angry he has been voted out but I’m really pleased.

“There is a reason for everything and usually around Noel those reasons turn out to be positive. The cosmos gives you everything for a reason.”

Mr Blobby creator Noel, 69, married third wife Liz in 2009. They believe in a version of positive thinking called cosmic ordering. Liz said: “People are saying he’s been given a lot of money for just a few days’ work but that’s not his fault.

“At least people have actually seen the Noel that I know. He’s a huge joker and so much fun.”

After Noel’s shock exit celebrities, hit out on social media. TV presenter Matthew Wright fumed: “What the hell is wrong with the British public – how can Noel Edmonds go first?”

Some viewers claimed it was a fix, but Liz laughed that off. She said: “It’s a bit like Brexit, everybody voted but are now moaning about the result.

Meanwhile Noel said he felt “frazzled coming straight out” of the jungle. But he added: “To go out in this way with all this noise around is better than going out second or third or even fourth.”

He added: “I knew I wouldn’t win. I think the clear winners are Fleur and possibly

Harry.”
