WHY WE’RE STRUGGLING

-

visit of Arsenal will bring back good memories for the 31-year-old Belgian, who scored a vital lastminute goal to beat the Gunners at Old Trafford in April.

The goal was bigger than just three points as it sealed a top-four Champions League spot for United.

And Fellaini is demanding Jose Mourinho’s stars show the same level of commitment against Unai Emery’s side this time.

“Yes it was an important goal, but the most important thing, whether I scored or not, was the three points and qualification for the Champions League,” added the United giant.

Positive

“It is a good memory for me, but it is a different Arsenal team, a different manager and different players this time.

“It will be a tough game. We did everything to score that day. We showed a good spirit, experience and positive attitude to keep going and we have to keep doing that. There are a lot of games and we know December is an important month for the Premier League, so we need to do well.”

Fellaini also called for fans to stay loyal and urge them on.

He said: “Of course, pleasing the supporters is important for us here and it is important for us to play good football and they have to push us.

“We all need to get together – and then stick together.”
