Keano should see that Jose Kops it

-

OLD TRAFFORD legends Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes aren’t afraid to criticise Jose Mourinho and his tactics.

But their flak may sound pretty tame compared to what might explode in the Sky Super Sunday studio today if Manchester United don’t rise to the occasion at Anfield.

The most outspoken Old Trafford hero of them all, Roy Keane (inset, top), will deliver his no-holds-barred verdict on a stuttering United side, who trail Liverpool by 16 points.

If it’s anything like the insipid display in the midweek Valencia defeat – United’s seventh this term – expect Keane to be at his most brutal.

Previously, Keane has blasted Mourinho (inset) for his serial moaning, accused him of spouting “utter garbage” and suggested the club may “be too big for him”.

There is much discontent in the United fan base and there are calls for Keane to articulate their fears.

To add spice to the proceedings, Keane is going head-to-head with Liverpool legends Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher.

No love lost there, then. Kop boss Jurgen Klopp will also be looking for payback after Jose’s pointed jibe about winning trophies.

The two previous Klopp-mourinho League showdowns at Anfield were forgettable 0-0 draws.

This time, my money is on the home side finding a way to break down United’s defence and stay on top.

But, given the sterility of recent encounters, few will expect a classic encounter.

So there’s every chance the Keane vs Souness studio exchanges may prove more lively and entertaining than the Anfield action.
