Good jolly miss Holly

- By Sarah Robertson

DRY January’s clearly not part of Holly Willoughby’s New Year resolutions... as she enjoys a boozy 12-hour session with her celebrity mates.

She enlisted Spice Girl Emma Bunton and All Saints’ singer Nicole Appleton to kick-start the celebrations.

They hit Japanese restaurant Nobu at 1pm for cocktails and lunch, and later carried on partying at the Groucho Club in London’s Soho until 1am. Holly, 37, found reinforcements on her big night out when comedian Michael Mcintyre joined the gang. Mumof- three Holly’s husband Dan was also there.

We bet fun-loving Holly’s still got a sore head This Morning... through drawers and cabinets. He stood his ground like a character in one of his films and faced them down.

“They must have been stunned because they just stood there for a moment like they were frozen before running off into the night.

“He was pretty shaken but reckons he just acted instinctively by confronting the raiders. Thank God they weren’t armed.” Police said the thieves took “jewel- wel- lery and other personal items”. Detectives are now scouring video footage from Quentin’s security system and those of his neighbours.

Quentin, 55, who wed Israeli pop star Daniella Pick, 35, in November, is shooting Once Upon a Time in Hollywood – the story of the 1969 Manson Family murders, starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio.

His spokesman said he could not comment on the robbery as it is an “ongoing police investigation.”

But Quentin Q once went on record about a burglars saying: “If I had a gun and a 12-yearold kid b broke into this house... I would kill him. You have no right to come into my house. “I would wou empty the gun until

you were dead.”
