Tide’s turning for star Kelly

-

wriggle off the hook and dodge the questions. It’s incredible to think she is the first female host in the show’s 40-year history.

And she made a star of Diana Good, the “woman in the yellow jacket” who went viral after telling everyone to stop feeling sorry for Theresa May.

What a great start. FINALLY singer R Kelly may have to face the music.

The documentary, Surviving R Kelly, out on US channel Lifetime last wee week, detailed more truly shocking claims of alleged predator predatory sexual behaviour and physical abuse of women and underag underage girls. Stories about his behaviou behaviour, all of which he has denied, h have been aro around for years years.

There have bee been numerou numerous law suits and even a trial bu but he was acq acquitted. I haven’t been able to listen to his music for years withou without feeling sick so it’s good to see th the wall of silence around him starti starting to crumble.

La Lady Gaga, who once defe defended him has apologised fo for working with him.

Cynics say it is damage limitation before the Oscar nominations but at least she has spoken out and vowed to stand behind the victims. His estranged daughter has called him a “monster”.

John Legend, the only major star to appear in the series, said “time’s up for R Kelly.”

As with the allegations against Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, the trickle is turning into a flood.
