ZACK SHOCKED BY ABUSE IN CAR PARK

- By Janine Yaqoob TV EDITOR

HARD-UP Katie Price goes for a cheap frill – and pins her hopes on the Lotto.

The reality star, 41, who is facing possible bankruptcy, tried to look pretty in pink as she splashed out on a fistful of lottery tickets.

But the dodgy top worn by

Ppo the mum-of-five to her local newsagents did nothing to hide the fact that she’s well and truly in the red.

Poor Pricey. It’s hard to believe just four years ago she was dressed to the nines as star of a Lotto TV ad. Now that’s a riches to rags story. EASTENDERS star Zack Morris was shaken after suffering a vile racist attack from a stranger in a car park – including being berated with the n-word.

Zack, 21, who plays Keegan Baker in the BBC One soap, said the lout repeatedly hurled abuse at him out of the blue.

His ordeal comes days after England’s footballers nearly walked off the pitch in protest after being taunted with racist chants in their match in Bulgaria.

In the late night attack on Friday, Zack was also called an Uncle Tom – a derogatory term for someone who knows he is subservient because of his race.

Zack tweeted yesterday: “Last night I walking through a car park to my car and was getting abuse from this random guy calling me a ‘N*****’ and ‘Uncle Tom’ repeatedly. This is the sort of mentality that is still destroying our generation – and it must stop.”

Sources close to Zack, who helped Eastenders to a best soap Bafta award in May, said he was shaken by the attack. One insider said: “He is very upset.” His soap pals rallied round him last night. Shona Mcgarty, who plays Whitney Dean, called the race attack “disgraceful”. Zack’s on-screen mum Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, vented her shock and anger online.

She wrote: “What???!!!! Shame on him!!! Love you son, wish I was there.”

Zack, who was born in Brentwood, Essex, joined the show in 2017 as Keegan alongside the rest of the Baker family.

He has featured in major storylines, including being at the centre of a hardhitting knife crime plot, which saw Zack’s best pal Shakil Kazemi, played by Shaheen Jafargholi, killed.

In coming weeks, Keegan and girlfriend Tiffany Butcher, played by Maisie Smith, elope to try to marry in secret.

Haringey Borough’s FA Cup qualifying round tie against Yeovil in North London was abandoned yesterday after home goalie Valery Pajetat was racially abused.

After Yeovil went ahead with a penalty, Haringey walked off as Pajetat said he had suffered racial abuse, been spat at and had objects thrown at him. The FA is investigating the incident.
