Strictly’s Chris: I’m dreading the tango I’ve never had a smouldering look – I’m hoping to buy one Icy curse is chilling for Caprice’s man

STRICTLY hopeful Chris Ramsey fears he lacks the sex factor to get his hands on the glitterball trophy, confessing: “Hips worry me”.

The comedian says he struggles being sultry and fears his time on the BBC hit will come to an end when he’s faced with the tango and other raunchy routines.

“When I’m going to be sexy, I’m going to be knackered,” admitted Chris, 33, who performed the quickstep last night with partner Karen Hauer, 37.

While Chris makes thousands laugh with his comedy routines, he’s hoping his dancing won’t make him the butt of people’s jokes.

“Doing the tango worries me big time – having to have an intense look on my face instead of pulling a stupid grin.”

“I’m not looking forward to the ones where you have to look serious or be manly. That’s not something that comes easily to me. I’ve never had a smouldering look. I don’t know where you can buy one. I’m hoping to get one before I need to use it.”

After a rocky start, South Shields-born Chris has been improving every week. Last week he earned praise from judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse for his Charleston.

But Chris – who is married to Rosie and dad to three-year-old son Robin – says he’s just enjoying the ride.

“Since we started and I saw how bloody good everyone is, the only person I’ve been competing against is myself.

“I go into every weekend thinking, ‘This could be my last show’.” CAPRICE says she can’t wait for Dancing On Ice – but her partner fears the show’s curse. The former model, who has sons Jett and Jax with Ty Comfort, will be on the ITV show in January.

As with Strictly, couples have been

created – and split up – by the show. “Ty was a bit dubious, obviously,” said Caprice, 47. “He’s the father of my children. I told him ‘Honey, don’t worry.’ “Famous last words!”

But Caprice says she understands how celebs end up with their pro partners.

“You spend so much time with these people and you get so close, it’s so intense.” Last series saw runner-up Wes Nelson and girlfriend Megan Barton-hanson split.

Other celebs taking part in next year’s series include Michael Barrymore, former footballer Kevin Kilbane, Steps singer Ian “H” Watkins and Corrie actress Lisa George. John Travolta eat your heart out! Kelvin is sexy, fun and looks like he’s having a ball. He oozed confidence when he danced apart from Oti and the chemsitry was w great between them when he h came back b to her.

Definitely one to watch.

33/40 From his initial incredible leap over Amy’s head, Karim Zeroual’s energy didn’t dip once in a high-octane salsa.

He dances like he swigged 10 Red Bulls. When you watch him you almost forget he’s NOT the pro. His 10 was well-deserved. Anyone who makes Who Let The Dogs Out bearable gets my vote.
