BARBARA Windsor can no longer see pals at showbiz bashes because of her brave Alzheimer’s battle, reveals her friend Christopher Biggins.

But he says she shouldn’t be remembered for her dementia ordeal – but for getting her boobs out in Carry On films.

“I don’t want the legacy of the disease to overshadow the legacy of her career,” he says.

“We must always remember Barbara in that field in Carry On Camping with her bra coming off. That’s how Barbara would prefer to be remembered.”

Ex-eastender Barbara, 82, is cared for at home by her husband Scott Mitchell after being di a g nosed with Alzheimer’s in 2014.

Comic actor Biggins, 70, says she is “hanging in there”.

“Barbara is never going to be 100 per cent,” he adds. “It is a terrible disease and is awful for her and everyone involved.

“She is still able to get out and about sometimes but I don’t think she would be able to go to a big event any more.

Fantastic

“It would be too much for her. She’d get too confused.

“She gets upset when she is confused and doesn’t quite know what’s going on.

“I saw her about a week ago at home. She has always recognised me and she still knows who I am.

“But I don’ don’t t want people ople to end up just rememberering Barbara bara

FBI agents are poised to arrest at least four people alleged to have groomed underage girls for Prince Andrew’s paedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein, a legal source said last night.

But the insider said Andrew was not among the suspects.

One of Epstein’s alleged vicfor the disease. She is doing so much good.

“She has done so much in her life and had a fantastic career.

“I don’t want people to forget that at – that is the heartbreaking thing ng for me.”

Barbara began her career on stage in 1950 at age 13.

She made her film debut as a schoolgirl in The Belles of St Trinian’s in 1954.

In 1972, she starred opposite pposite Vaness Van e s s a Redgrave edgrave in a West End production oduction of The Threepenny hreepenny Opera.

Then, between 1964 and 1974, 74, she appeared in nine Carry arry On films.

Her last Eastenders appearance pearance was in 2016. tims Virginia Giuffre has claimed the financier “trafficked” her to the Duke of York and she had sex with him when she was 17.

The prince, 59, has called the claims “false and without foundation” and said he was “appalled” by Epstein’s alleged crimes.

Last night it was revealed US prosecutors believe they have enough evidence to arrest former aides of the US tycoon, 66.

The source said: “They are ready to ask a judge to issue arrest warrants which will, I understand, be acted on immediately.

“The FBI is targeting those suspected of being involved specifically in the recruitment of underage girls in America, Britain and even Brazil.”

If convicted, they could face life behind bars.

The insider added: “I doubt any will be offered the opportunity of a plea bargain deal based on the gravity of the offences and high profile of this case. But some could be handed less severe sentences if they cooperate.

“Who knows how far up the food chain this investigation will eventually go? I have no doubt there will be less significant players willing to drop the hammer on those above.”

Giuffre, 35, is one of several women who claim Epstein abused them. He was found hanged in his cell in August while awaiting trial. His brother Mark says he could have been murdered.
