PSYCHIC medium Derek Acorah has died at the age of 69 just a year after saying he was looking forward to passing into the spirit world. called Sam. His series Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns ran for three series in 2005 and 2006. In 2009 his attempt to contact the King of Pop in Derek Acorah’s Michael Jackson: The Live Seance was panned.
And he was forced to apologise to the Mccanns after he was reported as saying their lost daughter Madeleine was dead and had joined the “spirit world”. He later claimed he was misquoted.
Acorah, who came fourth in Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, was born in Bootle, Merseyside, and got on the books of Liverpool FC but never played a game.
