Catch bus to see lava

TOUR buses are taking tourists to see La Palma’s volcanic eruption – and help, by spending money.

Officials set up the free service so visitors can watch lava from a safe distance.

Olga Reinoso, who visited from Fuerteventura, said: “Our way to help is to visit and contribute by spending money at hotels, cafes and car rentals.”

Since Cumbre Vieja first erupted on September 19, lava has destroyed more than 2,000 buildings.
