A FLAT in New York’s “Ghostbusters Building” has gone on sale in time for Halloween at £3.8million.

55 Central Park West featured as the home of Dana, played by Sigourney Weaver, 72, where the Ghostbusters fought the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in the 1984 movie.

Built in 1929, its real-life residents have included Ginger Rogers and fashion designer Calvin Klein.

And its architect, Ivo Shandor, was a doctor who reportedly carried out bogus surgery on patients.

He also led a cult of almost 1,000 members that worshiped the ancient Sumerian god Gozer.

They performed rituals on the Art Deco building’s roof with the intention of bringing about the end of the world.
