TWO paramedics whose wedding was cancelled twice in the pandemic have finally tied the knot after winning a competition.

Megan Baker, 29, and Tristan Holmes, 32, beat 100 other couples to marry at Rugby School, Warks.

The contest was for any NHS worker whose big day was called off due to Covid.

Tristan, of Hinckley, Leics, said it had been “absolutely amazing”. Both work for West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The couple’s prize was worth a total of £10,000.
