Has Her Maj COP-ED out?

IT was great to see the “knackered” Queen looking so chirpy during her virtual audiences this week.

But did anyone else have a fleeting suspicion that she might be pulling a sickie.. to get out of attending COP26? Because the eco summit has all got a bit awks for its hosts, hasn’t it?

Glasgow is drowning in rubbish and rats are on the rampage yet the council chose a cheerleading seal that looks like a giant rodent as conference mascot. Meanwhile, delegates flying into our green and sceptred isle will find it more brown and septic…thanks to all the raw sewage pumped into rivers and seas. And those travelling by train will probably be delayed by the wrong type of rain.

Of course HM would never dream of disappointing people.

But she has “regretfully” decided to listen to doctors and stay home “as a sensible precaution.”

Very sensible indeed, Ma’am.
