CRISTIANO RONALDO rode to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rescue with another inspirational display for Manchester United.

The Portuguese ace scored one and created another in yesterday’s win at Tottenham as the visitors bounced back from last Sunday’s 5-0 home hammering by Liverpool.

And a first Premier League win in five games ensured a stay of execution for under-fire boss Solskjaer.

The relieved Norwegian said: “We were good from the start. Every man
