NIGEL CLOUGH says Mansfield’s season can finally start.

Rhys Oates and Danny Johnson, who also missed a penalty, helped the Stags end a 12-game winless league run.

Clough said: “Hopefully it is onwards and upwards. Our season starts from this point.”

Tranmere boss Micky Mellon said: “It was just a really poor all-round performance.”
