Colchester 2 Scunthorpe 1
HAYDEN MULLINS was delighted to see his Colchester United side’s aggressive start pay dividends.
Freddie Sears and Armando Dobra struck in the opening 14 minutes before Harry Davis netted a late consolation.
Mullins said: “The boys started exactly how we wanted them to.
“We really went at them, went 1-0 up and we were clinical again. It was a good start.”
Scunthorpe boss Neil Cox said his team were “a lot braver in the second half”.
