ADELE’S BEDTIME ADVICE TO FELLOW SINGERS

- By Jen Pharo

EXCLUSIVE

ADELE will remind us she is the mother of all performers when her one-off TV gig airs tonight.

And it turns out her openness on parenting has been making celeb mums into fans.

The Someone Like You superstar will perform songs from her new album 30 on ITV’S An Audience With Adele.

And one celeb wowed by her is fellow singer Paloma Faith – who is so grateful Adele, 33, did not keep mum about life with kids.

The Easy On Me singer, who has son Angelo, nine, gave Paloma a top tip for balancing a celeb lifestyle with children.

Mother-of-two Paloma said her job can be erratic and she struggles as there are “times I don’t get to see them much. She added: “Adele told me I should always try and make bedtime.”

Paloma passed the advice to fellow singer Ellie Goulding, 34, who had her first child,

Arthur, in April. Paloma said: “I tried to [reach out] because I just felt so lonely myself the first time. Jessie Ware’s got three children. I don’t know how she does it.”

Paloma, 40, has daughters aged four and nine months. The second was born after six rounds of IVF and Paloma would love a third child. She and partner Leyman Lahcine have embryos stored but Paloma insisted it will be either a natural conception or adoption next time.

Saying she has never felt happier, she added: “I have this sense of love and security in that love that’s completely unconditional.”

The BBC documentary As I Am showed her work/life balance woes.

Paloma, who has partnered with parent and baby product brand Frida, hopes her own kids will be able to enjoy a career and motherhood. She said: “We’re all trying to sort of dumb down on motherliness or pretend we’re not mothers in order to succeed. I don’t think that’s fair on us.”
