JAMIE and Rebekah Vardy have set their sights on becoming the next Richard and Judy in a bid to build their brand.

Following the launch of their first children’s book this week, the ambitious couple revealed they are keen to take on more projects together – even though they could end up clashing on screen.

When asked if they might emulate Richard and Judy, the legendary This Morning duo, Rebekah, 40, told the Sunday People: “It’d be great to do something like that together.

“We work together pretty much every day as a mum and dad anyway.

“Who knows what’s in the pipeline for the future, but Jamie needs to concentrate on football for the moment and I’m totally supportive of that.”

Therapy

The model and TV personality then asked her husband: “Could you cope with me? I don’t know if I could cope with you!

“We don’t always agree, but 99% of the time we do…”

And Leicester City football star Jamie, 35, joked: “99% of the time you think you’re right! That’s the challenge. But I’m not ready to finish football just yet...”

The couple – who have three children together, and three with previous partners – insist there are no plans to add to their brood, but said horses would be next on their agenda instead.

Speaking at The Dorchester in London, Dancing on Ice star Rebekah, who has hit headlines with her “Wagatha Christie” libel case against former friend Coleen Rooney, 35, said: “I’ve always loved horses and the kids are desperate to get into it. “Animals are an amazing therapy. “We’ve got dogs, we’ve got 12 chickens… we love animals. And it’s something for the kids to learn that animals have feelings too.”

Jamie added: “I know it sounds really strange but I actually looked up trying to get a penguin. It’s the cuteness! But while searching for a penguin I also found you can buy a giraffe… legally!”

As well as looking for exotic animals to join the family, Jamie is keen to update his 2017 autobiography, From Nowhere: My Story. “I need to add a few chapters…” he teased.
