Sophie Price, 31, will walk down the aisle with her long-term partner Harry Brooks next month.
But missing from the guest list will be Katie’s on-off fiance Carl, who has been embroiled in a series of bust-ups with the model.
Katie’s five children are expected to be ushers and bridesmaids.
A source told the Sunday People: “Her sister’s wedding is going to be such a special occasion.
“The kids will all have important roles on the day, as will Katie.
“It’s a really special time for them and a very positive thing in Katie’s life, but Sophie hasn’t invited Carl.
“She doesn’t want any drama on her big day so it’s probably better for everyone if he isn’t there.”

Former Love Island contestant Carl, 33, started dating 43-year-old Katie after they were set up by mutual friends in 2020. Just 10 months later, he popped the question.
The couple’s tempestuous relationship has regularly hit the headlines and in March, Carl appeared in court to deny using threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour against Katie.
He is alleged to have attempted to force open a door to a property where the former glamour model was inside after she left his home following a dramatic row.
Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 19, Junior, 16, Princess, 14, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, from previous relationships, accompanied Carl to the hearing at Colchester magistrates court.
She has previously said she would like to add to her brood with Carl, who is currently on unconditional bail ahead of a summary trial in Chelmsford on June 16.
Katie’s sister Sophie, who runs a children’s clothing range, has been with her partner Harry for 12 years. They have one son called Albert.
Sophie – who has the same mother as Katie – has given their terminally ill mum Amy a key role at the wedding.
The source added: “It is about getting all the family together and just having a wonderful time. It’s going to be a special day.”
Sophie declined to comment on the story. Katie and Carl were approached.
